Soul food that's fed Atlanta since 1947

The Busy Bee is a cornerstone of Atlanta dining — named a James Beard America's Classics Award winner and recognized by the Michelin Guide for its authentic soul food and deep community roots. Every plate tells a story, and every story starts with flavor.

Whether you're here for the crispy fried chicken, slow-braised oxtails, or the creamy mac & cheese that made us famous, this is food that brings people together — then brings them back.
